This review is going to be a little different than most in that it's for a specific edition/binding.  This limited edition of 750 signed and numbered copies is only available from Subterranean Press here for $75.00.  Once they are gone that's it I'm afraid.  If you are a book collector or avid fan of this husband and wife writing team you will want this very special edition all done up with original artwork both inside and out by Doris Mantair.

The Innkeeper Chronicles Volume One collects Clean Sweep, Sweep In Peace, and One Fell Sweep which record the adventures of one not-so-average bed and breakfast innkeeper, Dina.  You'll find your vampires and werewolves in here like with most good urban fantasy, but in this series their origins are usually not on our planet. The books are also available individually through most bookstores if you are new to this series or are not a collector.

I never got to read these books when the authors were putting them up a chapter a week on their site so it's really nice to have them available in book form.  I still stayed away from the individual books  because the covers and the whole "innkeeper" thing kept making me think of castles, knights, and outdoor plumbing.  As irony would have it there are knights in these books, space vampire knights!  Now that I've read them I can't believe it took me so long, I mean I should've known better then to doubt the authors of the Kate Daniels series.  If you still aren't sure you can find the first three chapters of each book on the Innkeeper Chronicles website.
